| Artist Point to open mid-July | ||||

| ARTIST POINT – Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crews continue to remove snow at the end of Mt. Baker Highway to Artist Point. The recent heat has helped speed up the effort, and officials say the Artist Point area should be open in less than two weeks. Additional information will be published in the next Foothills Gazette.
